The Higher Institute for Professional Development and Training (HIPDET) is a prominent educational institution located in Bamenda, Cameroon. Established in 2015, HIPDET has rapidly gained recognition as a leading provider of vocational education and training (TVET) in the region. The institution was initially accredited as a vocational training center by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training and later received accreditation as a private university by the Ministry of Higher Education in 2016.
Mission and Vision
HIPDET is dedicated to developing the professional capacities of young people, equipping them with the skills necessary for successful careers in various fields. The institute aims to create a proactive and progressive educational environment that addresses the evolving needs of students and the community, fostering self-awareness and active participation.
